While waiting for the first official race event of our 2020 season, we decided to enter the Northern Speed Time Attack event held at Shannonville Motorsport Park.
We used this as a pre race test day, and it turned out to be great fun and ended with a excellent result.
This was our first entered time attack event, it took a bit to get used to the way it was ran. RMP entered a total of 3 RMP Competizione chassis setup and tuned cars.We have a good amount of laps at Shannonville over the years, which made it fun for us at this event.
We dialed in the performance and handling of our M235iR during the event. Running only used tires from last season, we still were producing some of the quickest laps we have done at Shannonville.
The M235iR was placed in the Unlimited class for the event. With many sessions throughout the day our lap times became quicker and after the final race of the day the winners were announced.
Fastest lap time of the TIME ATTACK was set by Rocco in the M235iR, winning overall and unlimited class.
In Limited class : Leo Fissore in his RMP setup F80 M3 placed first.
In Clubsport class : Leo Zii in his RMP setup N55 M2 placed Third.
This was a good practice and test event to get us setup for the CASC Racing Season.
