Testing was held on Friday, with some suspension adjustments for the different track, we were ready for the weekend races.
Saturday morning practice and qualify went well on the Long Track.
Rocco Marciello in the M235iR qualified with a lap time of 1:48, placing 2nd in GT1 and overall.
Race 1 Saturday afternoon was a challenge. Battling with Trans Am tube chassis cars for first position until the finish, Rocco placed 2nd in GT1 and overall.
With some preparation after the race we were ready for the upcoming race on Sunday.
Warm up was first thing Sunday morning. As weather changed to rain and temperature changed, we setup the suspension and installed rain tires for the wet track. With the battles continuing from the previous race, Rocco gave a hard fight keeping a steady pace. With rain drying up through the race, Rocco finished in 2nd once again!
This goes to show that hard work and preparation do serve well and end up with great results.
