The 2022 racing season has been very exciting and eventful one. Extremely hard work, preparation and dedication is what it took to reach our goal. We are extremely proud to announce our CASC GT1 Championship Victory in our BMW M235iR.
With the season starting off with our primary engine failing in initial testing for first race weekend of the season, we missed the first event collecting 0 points. We installed our spare stock N55 with supporting upgrades bolted up to it, not knowing if it would hold up all year and we are happy it did! We kept it maintained well and it was reliable all season. This made it possible to compete against all the higher horsepower purpose built race cars. With many hours of preparation and inspection between events, the M235iR was fast consistent with many podium finishes and no DNF’s. All this hard work is what earned us the title of 2022 GT1 CASC Sprints Champions!
The final race event of the 2022 CASC GT Sprints was held at CTMP Mosport. With many sponsored drivers finishing on the podium in all 3 races, the finishes sucured us more then just the GT1 Championship.
RMP Competizione has won the following in the 2022 CASC GT Sprints Championship:
In GT1- 1st Place – Rocco Marciello. F22 M235iR
In GT2 – 1st Place – Patrick Cyr. E46 M3
In GT2 – 2nd Place – Daria Khachi. E46 M3
In GT3 – 2nd Place – Bruce Wylie. E46 M3
