Back at CTMP Mosport for the second event of the CASC racing championship.
Friday, we tested for the races on Saturday and Sunday. Dialing in suspension adjustments, and getting used to the new track conditions, we were in the low 1.24 lap times by the the afternoon.
Saturday morning practice and qualifying went well, Rocco Marciello in the M235iR placed in top 5 overall with a lap time of 1:23.7.
The 3 races were all hard battles against tube chassis trans am built cars, but Rocco Marciello in the M235iR gave them some good competition. Being the only 6 cylinder at the top of the field, with lap times of consistent 1.23-1.24’s.
Rocco placed 6th overall in the first race due to a misfiring issue. Fixing the issue for Sunday, Rocco placed 3rd in the second race and 4th in the final race on Sunday.
We are happy with the results, the competition is tough but we will continue to perfect the M235iR and will be ready for the next event at Shannonville Motorsport Park!
