After a long winter break, we finally got out to the track for the first scheduled CASC event of the season held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park May 6-8.
Testing was on Friday with many RMP Competizione tuned and sponsored BMW’s, preparing for the weekend races.
Saturday morning in GT3 Bruce Wylie in his E46 M3 Qualified 1st, with Johannes Tjiang not far behind in 2nd, this put 2 RMP Competzione cars on the first row.
Race 1 was early in the afternoon. The GT3 race battle was very exciting, John Dipchand piloting the ex CTCC RMP Competizione E90 made his way up 12 positions to 1st in GT3. Bruce Wylie in 2nd. Johannes Tjiang was involved in an accident in corner 3 causing him to end the weekend early.
Race 2 Sunday morning was another eventful race, with many cars battling to the end, Bruce Wylie finished in 2nd.
Race 3 similar to race 2, Bruce Wylie held position in 2nd place and John Dipchand finishing 4th.
We would like to congratulate our RMP Competizione team of drivers on the succesful weekend. We are already preparing for the next event at Shanonville motorsport park in June.
As usual we would like to thank our sponsors Fuchs oil and MolySlip for the continued support. Check back for updates after each event.
