The weekend started with practice and qualifying. RMP Competizione drivers qualified well with Rocco Marciello in the #53 M235iR qualifying 2nd with team mate Michael DelleDonne #81 M235iR close behind in 4th.
The first race of the weekend was in extreme rain conditions, with rain setup going into the cars they were ready for the race. Through slippery and slick conditions, Rocco Marciello was able to place 3rd after the 40 min race.

Qualifying for the feature race of the weekend was held Sunday morning, each qualifying lap time was fast and consistent. #81 qualified in 2nd position and #53 qualified in 3rd position.
The feature race was held late in the day. Luckily, the race was held in sunny warm weather At the start of the race #53 Rocco Marciello overtook #81 and the leader of the race putting himself in first position. Rocco lead the race for 20 minutes until the BMW went into limp mode for temp overheat, causing Rocco to enter the pit lane to cool the motor. Rocco was able to re-enter the race after a small cool down. Rocco re-entered the race in fourth position. Nursing the car and not being able to use maximum output, he was able to battle his way up to 3rd place, finishing the weekend on the podium.
The BMWs are already being prepared for the next race, and will be ready to win!
