RMP Competizione had multiple entries in the BARC Canadian Touring Trophy races held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park July 28-29.
Starting off the weekend early with some testing on Friday, Rocco Marciello in the BMW M235iR dialed in the suspension improving his lap times. RMP Competizione drivers Johannes Tijiang and John Dipchand JR also tested for the weekend. Drivers Daria Khachi and Ali Nasirpour arrived late Friday to setup for the weekend events.
Saturday morning, a short practice session was held and then we qualified. The qualifying session was held in the rain. We quickly setup the cars for the wet. Rocco qualified 2nd in GT2, Daria 1st in GT3 and John 2nd in GT4.

Race #2 was held on Sunday morning in dry weather. Rocco battled with a Nascar style truck from the start to the end of the race, keeping his lap times consistent, he was able to finish in 2nd. In the GT3 Johannes placed 3rd and GT4 John placed 1st with Ali right behind him in 2nd.

We are already preparing for the next event, the Ted Powell Memorial held at Calabogie Motorsport Park, and we expect it to be a great one. We will be going into this event leading the GT2 Championship and plan to even further our lead!
